Can my company use this service?

Summary:

This service is designed exclusively for businesses (and families) that have their own domain; it stops spam for the entire domain. It is not software or a service that runs on individual computers.

Not for use with AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.

This service is not available for e-mail accounts on Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and similar services. It also is not for use with the e-mail account. you might have with your ISP or Cable company, e.g. @att.net, @comcast.net, etc.

Works with any small business domain

The portion of an email address after the @ is called the "domain". If you or your business own a domain, e.g. mycompany.com, and have email addresses with that domain, e.g. "jim@mycompany.com", then this service is for you!

This service works for the entire domain. In other words, email sent to any mailbox at @mycompany.com will be checked for spam.

Do I need my own mail server?

No! You only need your own domain name.

Will it work with any Hosting company?

(This applies if your domain is run at a "Hosting" company.If your domain runs on your own servers, you or your IT staff can certainly,and trivially, configure it to work with our service.)

Our service will work with any business-oriented Hosting company and probably with 99% of all business domains. Changing MX records is a trivial operation for a Hosting company. Of course, every Hosting company can set their own policies.It is possible that with bare-bones hosting, e.g. "$9.95/month" that the Hosting company will either refuse to change MX records or charge you a small fee. If after signing up for our service, you find that you cannot change your MX records,we will gladly give you a full refund.

Will it work with my Mail Server (Exchange / Lotus)?

Yes! It works with any mail server that you or your Hosting company uses, including Microsoft Exchange, Groupwise,Lotus Notes, etc.

What about larger businesses?

Currently, our service is designed for businesses with up to 10,000 mailboxes.
